How can you not kiss that face?

I can't help myself

Lily and I went up to Indy today while daddy hunted. We had lunch with Zack, Monica and Lexi and we also went to the Circle Unitarian Universalist Fellowship where I went growing up. It was so much fun to introduce Lily to people I've known since I wasn't much older than LIly is now.

You were no older the first time I was allowed to hold you. And we passed you from person to person without hearing any fuss. I think you were the first baby I was allowed to "care for". ~Jill

I remember holding her and looking at her when she wasn't even 24 hours old. She looks so happy and she is so beautiful!

I feel very fortunate to be a able to watch her grow up. Thanks for taking so many pictures and posting them for all of us to enjoy.

Yes, I remember holding Lily in my arms too. It was before she was even named yet. Now when I look at her the name Lily seems to fit her so perfectly.
So with that in mind I am changing my blog name to Nanny.
My oldest nephew who just turned 33 started calling me Nanny when he first learned to talk. Ever since all my nephews and nieces call me Nanny. My grandaughter who is now almost two is also calling me that. Since it seems to stick I suppose that is what I would like Lily to also call me.

Tami - I'm so glad that you guys read the blog and keep up with Lily. I can't wait for the next trip out to see all of you in CA.

Nanny - Perfect name! My mom goes by Grandma and Corey's mom goes by Mamaw, so Nanna will make it very easy for Lily to differentiate between all of you :)
