A few minutes ago we heard a large "crrrrrrrack" and were dismayed to find that the beautiful old maple in the front yard lost a limb. Now it is going to be lop-sided :-(

Windy day
It has been rainy and really windy all day. The wind knocked all of the samaras out of the silver maple and scattered them all over the yard.
A few minutes ago we heard a large "crrrrrrrack" and were dismayed to find that the beautiful old maple in the front yard lost a limb. Now it is going to be lop-sided :-(

We had the tree in our yard break in hapf yesterday. It was blocking our driveway!!! I will post pics on flickr. I can't fiqure out how to add contacts and when i search your name it brings up your old account! smilescami
