Meeting Abe
We had a late Thanksgiving with my parents in Illinois this weekend. The highlight was our trip to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield. It was quite a drive but well worth the trip. The exhibits were interactive and quite entertaining. Not your typical museum at all. The wax figures were eerie. We are pictured here with Abe, Mary and son Willie. There was a show about the Lincoln library that was part history lesson, part magic show. Really cool! We were so mesmerized by the show that we had to ask the docent whether the actor was real or fake (answer: real!). I highly recommend the museum if you have a chance to go there.
