Peeping Corey

Corey has 2 trail cameras which he uses to spy on unsuspecting furry critters. He downloads the pictures on my laptop, which, against my wishes, he drags out into the bush with him. Needless to say, my laptop has acquired quite a few new scrapes and scratches recently. I am not too happy about that, but I am always amused to see what shows up in my iPhoto folder after he gets back.

Three years today

Three years ago today, Corey and I were married. He is the most wonderful, caring, positive, supportive person, and I can't even put into words all of the reasons I love him so dearly. I just can't imagine life without him. I feel like such a lucky person to have found such a perfect (perfectly quirky) partner in life. Corey, I love you!

By the way, Stinky is not admiring my bouquet, he's eating it.

Tater dreams

Do you ever wonder what dogs are thinking? I often do. I took this picture on a beautiful day this summer when the sun was setting and a nice, cool little breeze was blowing. I love the look on tater's face. I would love to know exactly what was running through that little mind of hers.

"Green" Sheets

I found these 100% Bamboo fiber sheets at Bed Bath and Beyond. Even better, they were on clearance. I've never seen bamboo sheets before. I love that bamboo is a "green" product. The sheets are really silky and soft, much nicer than the cotton sheets we have. Hopefully they will hold up well, too. Time will tell, I guess.

Family, cheese, and Potato

Last weekend we took a quick trip up to Wisconsin to visit with family. We hadn't seen my side of the clan in quite some time, so it was great to see Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. We wished we could have stayed so much longer, but my part time job (Bed Bath & Beyond) is monopolizing my weekends.

As we left Wisconsin, we stopped at the "Mars Cheese Castle". We always pass "the castle" but never really thought about stopping until this weekend. Let me tell you, the Cheese Castle rocks!! WE LOVE CHEESE. They had ever kind of cheese you can dream up, and its all there, ready for the tasting. We bought "Blueberry Cheddar", "Cracked Pepper Cheddar" and "Smoked String Cheese". I wish I'd bought like 5 lbs of that string cheese. I miss it already.

Sunday and Monday nights we camped at Potato Creek. It was fun to see old friends and visit our old place. We made "banana boats" over the fire for dessert. Yum. On our way home, we stopped in Indy to visit our friends Cami and Seth and enjoyed a nice Italian dinner.

I'm noticing a food theme running through this post. I think I'd better go scrounge up something to eat...

I didn't take any pictures on the trip, if you can believe that. So here is a pic of Ed simply being Ed.
